if there has been other people using the internet on your computer, is there a wawy you can find out what sites they visited?

Yes. First, check the "history" on internet explorer. Second, search through your temporary internet files. If they've covered their tracks, then do a search for a folder called content.ie5. Microsoft stores all kinds of internet infor there that people think they've deleted.

Finally, if you're really serious, get a pro to do digital forensics.

They are stored in temp files, it is stored differently for each operating system.
In Internet Explorer go to View and Explorer Bar then click on History.

In your browser, do a CTRL+H & in left tab you can see the sites the current user visited.
