try toning your body, pilates or yoga. I know you exercise and watch what you eat, but doing cardio you wont see results right away. With toning you do. Get a pilates or yoga DVD and it'll slim down your hips and thighs and tone your stomach.
good luck :)

I'm in the same situation! I'm 4'10" and 145lbs wearing an 11 when I used to be 105 and in a 3! Just be patient....your body will never be exactly the same and 1 size up isn't that bad(1 size juniors, that is) try some lighter exercise like just walking for an hour or so each day....and do it BEFORE meals.....eat slowly and drink more water than anything...if you find yourself eating because you are bored, go grab a bottle of water instead of food....I went from what I am now to pre-pregnancy this way(granted, I'm right back where I started from now) and it worked for me....but everyone is different and you can't expect to wake up tommorrow and be back in your old clothes! good luck to you!

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!!!!! I am in the same boat! It hasn't been as long for me, but I was about a size 12 when I got pg, and I can't really fit into my size 14's even. I am about to go NUTS. I have 2 pairs of pants that fit me. I am watching what I eat, exercising, and feeling TOTALLY depressed that I am GAINING weight, despite combining two diet programs that should be working on me. Arrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!
I am adding this to my watch list so maybe I can get some help, too! :) Sorry it didn't really answer your question. I just wanted to sympathize/vent!

I feel ya there hun. But remember, it took you nine months to pack on all that weight, and to make your sweet little baby. Most experts say it usually takes about twice as long to get rid of it.
It's great that you're exercising and eating healthy. But don't feel like you have to lose a ton of weight right after your baby is born. Granted the stars do it, yes, but they have TONS of professional help. Us real moms don't! Don't beat yourself up because you're not losing the weight fast enough.
I figure, hey, if a horrible figure is the price I have to pay for my baby, so be it. I can live with it for now, and just enjoy my little baby.

Honey I know how you feel. 20 pounds is not hard to get rid of. Work out, drink lots of water, cut out the caffeine. If you do not feel like you can work out without tending to the baby I suggest that you may want to try mall walking with your child in a stroller or sling. There are various ways to tone your stomach and you need to best work out for you. If you do this without the results you need I asked the doctor for Phentermine, I lost 10 pounds each month without changing my eating style dramatically. Good luck!

I am joining weight watchers tonight, I am taller but the same size. I eat right, but sometimes I eat too little, which makes your body hang on to every thing you eat. I also need a support team to help me out. hence weight watchers. good luck

It will take a few years for your hormones to readjust back to normal. Focus on physical activity like bringing your new baby for regular stroller walks etc. Also health, both emotional and dietary attention may be required.
