I have a white MacBook with a built-in iSight camera. I started PhotoBooth and an error message appeared, saying either my camera isn't connected or other apps are using the camera. Both of which were false. There's gotta be something wrong with my iSight camera, and I don't know what!!! It just stopped working for no reason! No green light, nothing! I did some research on it and found out lots of other people are having this same problem and I tried a few things but they didn't work...

What should I do? Call Apple? I don't have AppleCare by the way. And I had the MacBook for about a couple months already...Do you know if it would be free for them to replace the iSight? Well, thank you for your help and suggestions!

You can still get it fixed at no cost to you. Go to an Apple Store or call Apple and have it fixed. They will fix it for free. Your computer is under warrenty for a year.

As an apple certified technician I would say that this is a problem exhibited with the macbook, the fix is simple for CERTIFIED technicians, but only for them, take it to the store as you purchased it from and ask them about it.

Yes, your Mac book is under warranty. Call Apple or take it to the nearest Apple Store.
