What is the most selled videogame in history?, and don't say it's Halo or something dumb like that because it's a lie.

That's a really tough question to answer, considering the different genres of video games out on the market.
I would honestly say that the Mario Bros. series is one of the highest selling in history. There are so many games, spanning from arcades and Nintendo, all the way up to GameCube and the Nintendo DS.
Another obvious answer is the Legend of Zelda series. Again, the series has gone from Nintendo, all the way to the upcoming Wii.
Personally, I also think that the Final Fantasy series also has a place in the high-selling video game category. There have been so many games in the series, going from Nintendo to Sony, and also doing the unthinkable within the series (Final Fantasy =/= sequels, if you ask me). Granted, I personally think that the series went downhill after Final Fantasy VIII, it still has a place toward the top.

Despite the fact you cant go anywhere without seeing the two lovable plumber brothers, im going to go against the grain and go out on a limb with my answer of.
PACMAN
Pacman has some years on the Mario Brothers, and there was a time when you couldnt go anywhere without seeing Pacman or Ms. Pacman. Cereal, Pasta, Clothing, TV Show, and many othet things im sure i forgot.

Personally, I think the best selling game would be related to Mario. He is in almost everything. I hope this at least narrows your search.
