That depends on the reason you're crying, and the type of relationship you're in. If you're crying over something that truly upset you, if your guy is worth his salt, he'll care. If you cry every 10 minutes over very minor things, he may care in the beginning but he'll lose that sensitivity.
I mean, if you've had a REALLY bad day and you cry, sure...he should at least try to make you feel better. It's minor in the big picture, but everyone has bad days. If he tells you "I can't watch this movie with you tonight because I'm exhausted." and you start bawling and telling him "You don't care about me!" ...it's unfair to him, and if you do that often enough, he'll get sick of playing that game.
Don't get me wrong...I'm not saying it's wrong to cry because I don't think that at all, but it's wrong to cry JUST to get attention. or just to force him to do something you want.
If you're in a relationship with a control freak, it's different. If you cry over something he did or said, he won't care because a control freak will never admit they're wrong. To THEM...if you cry it's because you're beaten down, and that's just where they want you. They want to be in charge, and if you cry...they know you feel weaker than they are. THOSE are the guys you dump! ;0)

Honestly, i care a lot when a girl cries, i just melt for her. I mean it has to be a girl i really like, or good friends with. About a week ago one of my best friends (and the girl i wish was mine...*sigh*...) started crying because she had so much on her mind, and i nearly cried myself. But not all men/guys are scum balls.

If someone did something to hurt you and you where crying YEAH I WOULD BE UPSET but i would also console her
If your crying because something is so cute or something is so romantic I would ignore you and walk out of the room
If your crying because your friend is getting married i would say give me a break and raise the volume to the football game...

Not usually. We tend to disregard it. Women are fickle and rarely in control of their emotions. The world doesn't need to stop because you can't help but cry, cry, cry. It keeps turning, and so do we.
NOW if we made you cry, truly MADE you cry, not just hurt your feelings or some ****, we might care more.

as much as i love my husband, and as much as i know he loves me, crying makes him feel so uncomfortable that he emotionally freezes. some men don't like it when their baby's so sad (or angry) that they cry. sad but true, when i feel the need to cry, i avoid my husband at all costs, because he cannot be there for me. this is true for whatever reason, the loss of a loved one, frustrations in our marriage, other family issues.....just can't handle the sadness, he can't. i'm hoping that some men do, though.

Nothing breaks my heart more than seeing my lady cry, for any reason. I want to find the reason for her tears and perform deadly acts upon that reason.I would die before making her cry, unless I caused tears of joy, that is.
