Famous for "there is one born every minute" ie a fool. With the increase in World population (and screening of Big Brother every year),should we be thinking 50 seconds now days?

With one sucker born every minute, that still puts suckers at under 1% of the population, so I'd say that sounds reasonable.

Yes Barnum was right but I think he was referring to the US. In other countries that rate would have to like 50 or less seconds for the next fool to be born.

I'm not sure Barnum actually made that statement though.

Old P T was pretty good at tricks and scams. I bet someone out there would believe in every item in Robert Ripley's famous musuems - there are lots of fools around these days.

you could shortened that time.....as it goes by
