That is an "evil" test that you are suggesting. Can't you find a more straight-forward way to deal with him?

Listen, life is too short to play games. Go for what you want. If you still want him tell him. Somehow... Maybe you two keeping in contact can resolve the issues that broke you up.???
BE REAL!!! Say what you mean and mean what you say.

not necessarily, I broke up with my boyfriend about a year ago. I called him several times after we broke up because of habit - not because I missed him or cared. Once I broke the habit I didn't call him anymore.

He may still contact you because he cares, or he may not contact you because he cares and is doing what you ask.

Why would you tell him not to contact you if it's not what you want? I suggest you don't play mind games.

Or how about he might respect your wishes, and not bother you, if that's what you asked him to do, or rather not do.

Come on ladies, we aren't all mind-readers. If you say get lost, don't be suprised if he does.
If you REALLY wanted him gone, and he wouldn't leave you alone, you'd be complaining about that on here, wouldn't you?

When you decide what you want, and why you want it, let him know, but don't confuse him,
communicate.

Don't play that game. If you don't want him to contact you, say so. But if you do, be honest with him.
