I've always been told robbing is bad,to take what's not yours is not good. -----But if I could give the thing back to the person that got robbed I sure would feel great. It could be something that person needs to make it. Like rent money, Meds money, food money. You see , it could make somebodys world so much better.

Well, where I come from we have an experssion for stealing it back from the bad guy and returning it, it's called "recovering stolen property", and that's a good thing. Your question seems to assume that you know the property is stolen before you take it. I would see trying to do something else with it before trying to return it to the rightful owner as wrong. I certainly would hope anyone finding my things would try to return them to me and I certainly would do the same for others.

ethics are reletive in this case, are we talking bush? The real question is will the robber learn something based on your actions.

uhhhhh, you call the cops & they'll put him in jail & give the stuff back to the owners...a win-win, the people get their stuff back & you helped!

or you could just call the police. and sometimes they give rewards
