Guy comes by every year and charges $25 to put a new punch card on it from his company. Don't know if this is a legal requirement of money scam. I know it should be checked maybe every other year but just wanted to know if there is a law.

It's the real thing. At the hospital same thing, some guy comes and tags them, once a year. Once he banged the fire extinguisher with the side of a hammer. I asked him why he did that. He said that it "loosens" the stuff inside so when we need to use it, all the liquid isn't sitting at the bottom.

Everywhere I've worked has had annual fire extinguisher inspections. State law.

you sure do need annual certification. 25.00 is alot less to pay if you had a fire and someone got hurt.
