2,212MHz = 2.2GHz, so no.
It's the metric system. I'm sure you know that a kilometer is 1,000 meters. Well a megameter is 1,000,000 meters and a gigameter is 1,000,000,000 meters. It's the same thing with Hertz (Hz).

1 GHz is 1,000 MHz, so 2,212 MHz would equal 2.212 GHz.
The only time I know of that the factor is anything other than 1,000 is when we talk about kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes and terabytes. There the factor is 1,024 (1 MB=1,024 kB; 1 GB=1,024 MB and so on). This is because computers operate on a binary level, and 1,024 is a power of 2.

G in GHz is not the same as G in GB.
Frequency (Hz) is a decimal system where as byte is a binary system.
1GHz equals 1000MHz.
1GB equals 1024MB
Therefore 2212MHz equals 2.212GHz.
