As SOON as you wake up stick the thermometer in your mouth. Then chart your temp every day. http:://www.fertilityfriend.com is a nice site to use. Also your first 45 days is a VIP trial and it helps you get more comfortable with charting your signs.

After a couple months or maybe even just one you will be able to notice your ovulation and become more in tune with your cycle.

There is usually a dip in temperature before ovulation and then a temperature spike. You also have a dip right before your cycle is going to start.

So good luck and I hope this helped.

You need to take it at the same time each morning before getting out of bed, eating, drinking, etc. Temp charting will tell you when ovulation has taken place. When you get 3 days worth of temps that are higher than the previous temps then you have ovulated.

take it in the morning when you first wake up . . . ovulation is generally accompanied by an increase in temp.
