My friend has an ability and he doesnt know if he is supposed show others his ability or even pratice his ability.He has notice that his life is differnet from those around him and he does know if he should show any body because he doesnt know if he is supposed to. he doesnt know who it would make others feel or how they would take it. he doesnt believe that it is wrong to have this gift. what sould he do

If his ability can be put to good use towards helping himself or others, then he should consult a scientist who can help quantify and measure the ability.

If his ability can be misused, abused, and wielded as an instrument for evil, then he should see an trained ethicist about the ramifications and cautions he should exercise.

Abilities which are unique should not become a sideshow freak or 5 minutes on Leno or Letterman. True abilities should be considered and implemented to do the most good for the most people.

Admittedly mine is a philosophical argument, but what were you expecting?

show it to the people he's closest to and when he feels comfortable move on past loved one and close friends and he should embrace te fact he can do something possibly no one else can. he's one of the few blessed with a gift

it really depends on what the ability is. to not be specific i would not be able to decide whether it is ethical.

show just his closest friends first, and ask them how they feel about it. they won't make a big deal unless your friend asks them to.
