I'm missing something here ... ?

How come Thor in the latest issues, can stay in god form without holding Mjolnir ? Please fill me in...

well lets see...he was always able to have a sixty second break from the hammer-without changing. I think its because Thor is not being punished, by Odin, is there is no penalty for being without the hammer.
During the last few issues of the Mighty Thor---Thor had the Odin-power-so of course losing the hammer wouldn't have forced the change.
