Can I call the company and demand they replace her white dress?

There should be a warning on the package!!

Incidentally, the dress was small and the bib was HUGE- I never thought she could manage to get food under it!! And, none of the other stuff she has eaten so far- peaches, pears, squash- has stained. Unfortunately carrots are her favorite. And I checked the package- it says no artificial colors....although I've never seen a carrot that color.

Applesauce- my bf used to do electrical work- he and another guy were hired to do work in an applesauce place- I can't recall the brand but one of the big ones- he says this is the only job he has walked out of- maggots crawling in the vats- being ground up with the applesauce- and he never ate applesauce since, and since he told the story, I will never eat it or feed it to my kids.

One other thing- neither of my BOYS never made such a mess!!

I hate to say it but ALL baby food stains. The more color in the food the more on the clothing. I suggest soaking in white vinegar for about 2 or 3 hours (It gets baby poop stains out of my cloth diapers). Of course if you have already washed it then it is set in and only bleach will work.

No, they won't replace her white dress. They might send you a coupon for a couple free jars of baby food but that's it. Yes, there should be a warning on the package--but you should expect a baby to be messy and should have been more careful feeding your baby while she's wearing something white :-)

Kind of common sense there - have you ever peeled a carrot and looked at your hands afterward?
Most baby food stains- especially the orange foods.

As much as that sucks I seriously doubt they will help you out.... If you can bleach the spots with a bleach pen.... if bleach is not an option... check out this site, the green apple cleaner, I use it on everything, and it is awsome for stain removal in clothes....

It has even gotten a couple stains out AFTER the clothes have been dried.

They shouldn't stain too bad, maybe there is food colouring added.

Try getting it wet and letting it dry in the sun - I have found the sun takes out almost any stain.

No, they won't replace it but Shout spray works very well at taking out carrots (grape juice & sweet potatoes too). I have a VERY messy eater!
