What DS game should I buy? What are your favorites?

Right now I only have the New Super Mario Bros. and Brain Age. I have a DS lite.

Out of the very many DS games I own, these are my favorites:

New Super Mario Bros.
Tetris DS
MarioKart DS
Metroid Prime Hunters and Metroid Prime Pinball
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Brain Age
Big Brain Academy
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney
Trauma Center
Nintendogs

I am also looking forward to the games Harvest Moon DS and Cooking Mama, both of which are due to come out mid-September, and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, which should be out next spring.

you should buy the legend of zelda phantom hourglass when it comes out on march 2007. It will be a hit. My favorite ds games would be mario kart and metroid hunters. they are the best to play on wi-fi.

Animal Crossing,Princess Peach(I know it sounds lame but I used to own New super mario bros and peach is 10 times better) and Starfox commando oh and mario Kart

I will provide the specs on both DS'es

first of all. if you dont care about the game cartridge sticking out than do not go with the "Ds lite" Now if your eyesight is bad then go with the Lite.,

now if youre a homebrewer like me ( someone who designs games on consoles) then you need to go with the old ds. I partly think of my experneces hacking that Nintendo came out with the new ds to prevent homebrewing. An example is when you try to homebrew your DS MAY turn into a brick. Stating that the ds is no longer useable. Now the DS lite may have advanced graphics emulator installed to give more fine detail to the ds. basicly the ds in non geek terms will have at least maybe 10 to 5 more FPS ( frames per second) graphics. so expect to see racing games a Bit clearer.

so basicly if youre going for gaming but not looks get the lite. but if you want to make games go with an older version of DS and save a couple dollars too.
