I suppose it depends on the circumstances. The Bible says you can sell your daughter into slavery (Exodus 21:7-11) so it's not unreasonable to think that other "holy" books offer the same stupid ideas.

Regardless of what the Quran says, you'd probably get in tons of trouble for it. I'd advise that you stay away from slavery in general.

Who do you think captured the African slaves that were shipped to the US and other countries (past history)? That should answer your question.
