The University you're entering should have a bookstore with all the books you need for your classes. If you want to save money, you can look at bulletin boards in the halls where most people post used books for sale. (Just make sure they are the edition that your professor/instructor wants you to use.)

Well, there are really two sources: If you need some books pronto, try the bulletin boards and walls of your college. If it is anything like my college, you will be able to find plenty of offers and gr8 deals. I personally check out books at ecampus.com which sorta gives me the best place to go to find the best price for a book.

www.ecampus.com
Great prices new and used, I often find my books for less than half the price of what the bookstore on campus charges.
(I also sell my books back to the campus bookstore and often get about $10 more than what I paid for them!)

you will possibly pick a coffee maker in case you like coffee. get a sturdy examining lamp so which you will learn as quickly as your room mate is going to mattress. a computing device is available in case you dont already have one.

I would ask your school for suggestions or try Amazon or Ebay.

www.powells.com is a great source - or try amazon's marketplace - where people list their used texts for phenomenal prices - you can get great deals! :)
