i am 14 weeks pregnant, i have a son that is 3 i am 21 i am thinking about getting my tubes tied after this baby. think i am to young to have them tied//

the reasons behind why you want them tied are what matters. if you are doing this because you don't want any more children with your spouse, then talk about maybe getting his done. if this is so you don't have to worry about getting pregnant, or taking the pill. Use something like an IUD. Tying your tubes at your age is a very serious decision. It is almost impossible to reverse. You should thinkk of other ways to not get pregnant that are less permanent

I think that is is up to you and hubby/significant other, and of course the doctor. I wanted my tubes tied after I had my two kids, I was 21 when I wanted this done(they are 14 months apart). My doctor refused to, but I went and got a second opinion, and he said he would if it was my choice. But, I changed my mind, because when my two get older, I may want another(please be a boy). Congrats!!!

it really up to you. are you married and is your relationship good? If not you might want to look ahead to the future, if you meet another guy and get married you might want to have a child with them. Have you thought about going on birth control?? Some doctors wont even tie tubs for some one so young. I understand that you don't want to keep having kids, so do what you need to do and if you do get your tubes tied it can always be undone. good luck

i am 21 and pregnant and i am having mine tied after this but you have to decide if its right for you its right for me cause i only wanted 2 babys and iam getting my girtl this time so i will have a boy and a girl

If you are 21 you are old enough to figure that one out yourself, however there are less dramatic ways to avoid pregnancy than tieing your tubes
