For the past few months my speedometer sporadically works, sometimes my gas gage doesn't work and my odometer doesnt work sometimes?? It's like all my gauges are messed up. What could it be? How much to get fixed??

I have the same problem!! The only thing my husband (who used to be a mechanic) says is "Oh, that's not good". WELL THANKS!!! LOL

You didn't tell us what kind of car or what sort of instruments you have, but I am guessing a digital style or later model electronic.
It sounds like a poor electrical connection either in the connection to the cluster or perhaps a broken conductor in the cluster circuit film (like a printed circuit)
It probably won't be very INexpensive. Most likely the shop or dealer is going to charge you a tear-down fee for the estimate, and then provide you an estimate
I would GUESS it will be somewhere around 2 hours to disassemble and reassemble plus the parts and diagnostic fee. You will have to find out what your shop charges per hour.

you didnt say what kind of car you had, but I would assume your dash gages are all electrical(digital). If so, it sounds like you might have a short, or a bad ground some where. If you added anything like a new stereo, or DVD or an accessory, I would start looking for the problem there

sounds like your flux capacitor is going out.....from the parts store you can pick one up for about 6 dollars, but they are behind the counter
