very good. what's he gonna do? go to the police and tell them that the stuff he robbed from some old lady got robbed from him?

It is still robbing. It is generally a bad thing except when you are taking back what is owed you or you are teaching the robber not to rob.
I worked with a guy who was robbed at gunpoint while in his car by a drug addict. When the drug addict wandered into the street, he ran him over and killed him. No one at the office saw this worker as a killer and most people were relieved that we had one less violent criminal to worry about. I suppose being victimized becomes tiring and we identify with the victim that takes action even though that action is criminal.

Robbing a robber is still robbing and since is when robbery ever a good thing

Yes it is robbing and it is bad. Even this rob from the rich give to the poor is bad. Of course the poor love it but stealing is stealing no matter how you look at it.

i live by the old addage "what goes around comes around" and for that reason I think it is bad
you see, first of all, robbery is robbery, no matter who you rob,
secondly, if you rob a robber, that will just motivate him to go out and rob twice as much, so in essence you are causing more crime to be committed
now what if the next person he robs is you (what goes around comes around)

There is no honer amoung thieves. So hell yes. If he stole it and your a thief nothing wrong with stealing it from them. They won't report you to the cops. Stealing is bad though. Personally I hate a liar and a thief more than anything. You ever been robbed. I have and it sucks.

Look at your question.... the verb is Robbing.... YES it is still robbing. You shouldn't rob a robber... you should shoot them dead.

robbing a robber is robbing. therefore, you are a robber, and you are no better than the one who robbed you.

Anytime you take money from someone else (unless you are taking back your own money), it is robbing and, therefore, bad.
