No it's great. At your age it's good to concentrate on school. It's normal to have crushes, but don't worry about dating until you're much older.

No, it isn't weird. Too many girls have been out and "more" by your age.
While it is nice to have someone make you feel all special, having a girlfriend/boyfriend relationship now - it's a little premature. Try going out in a group of friends - girls and boys - go to a dance, a movie, for pizza, bowling, skating - whatever.
If you start out with dating steadily at 13, what is there to look forward to in a few years. And the expectations of the boy tends to go up too.
Take it slow - I know I probably sound like your mom - well I'm probably older than her - but I do know growing up happens too fast (you don't think so @ your age) and suddenly you're 55!!
Enjoy yourself, enjoy being young, adulthood and adult responsibilities will come too soon.

I'm 17 and I've never had a boyfriend, or been asked out. Is that weird?

No, it's not weird at all. I'm fourteen and I've never had a boyfriend. I've been asked out but never had a boyfriend. It's perfectly fine.

Eh, I'm 14 and never had a "boyfriend" nor been asked out before.
I think its better to have boys who are just friends since the friendship will probably last longer.

Oh, and looks has nothing to do with it. There's some girls in my school who aren't cute at all, but have gone out with boys.

No it is NOT. Lots of different people put different amounts of importance omn these things. SMART kids concentrate on getting good grades so they can go to college and make something of themselves.

Don't be in such a hurry to get a boyfriend. All boys turn into men someday anyhow. You can learn the hard way or the easy way. .

Honey, honey, honey....Slow Down!

You're 13.

You're barely out of your pre-teen years!

As far as I'm concerned, you're still a baby!

Enjoy your Idyllic childhood life while you still can.

You are WAY too young to worry about superficial things like dating & boyfriends.

Focus on more important things like paving your way for a beautiful future full of boundless possibilities.

Don't worry about what others think about you.

Live for YOURSELF!

If you think the purpose of being a teenager revolves around dating & having boyfriends, then you are headed into a VERY dark & tragic road that I've seen WAY too often with SOOO many beautiful, bright, intellgent young girls who all had SOOOO many possibilities in thier futures, but had to abandon EVERY last one of them because they got involved with the wrong type of people & wound up pregnant & alone with NO opportunity to pursue all the AMAZING dreams & possibilities they could have achieved.

Honestly, honey, don't wind up being another tragic, futureless teen-mother just because people want to convince you that the purpose of your life is to date or have a boyfriend.

They are ALL wrong.

Live for your OWN future!

I am 16 years old & I have never ONCE even THOUGHT about boyfriends or dating.

I am planning for my future, & if my future means being SINGLE for the rest of my life, so be it.

I am worth it.

I am 17 and never had bf but I dont think that sth is wrong with me, I work very very hard as I go to two high schools and I am trying to get my grades to study medicine. But beyond that I feel that I am not ready yet. Its nice to see in here that there are some girls in my position, too. I guess we all feel alone in our problems and its nice to know that we are not... Good luck, right time will come!

Grace:

There is nothing whatsoever that's weird about that. You're 13! You have plenty of time. Enjoy living in a boy-free zone while you can!

No that is not weird, you have the rest of your life to get involved with many idiots till you find that perfect match, best to stand back and watch and observe others and that way you won't have to go through so many. You will be the envy of most!
