As a nice girl who never really worried about finishing last. That's your answer. don't worry about it. Keep on doing what you're doing, people you don't even know about are paying attention. I'm not the most naturally confident person in the world, but I always held out for relationships with people that valued character. Now I have the best family. My husband is a great guy, and he is a great looking guy, and we have two of the most beautiful children in the world. Just know that you're not the first nice girl to go through this, you're not the last. One more thing, yeah, I'm a nice girl, but it doesn't hurt to be bad every once in a while. You can be the one goes out with some shallow guy and say "you know what you're not worth but it was fun in the meantime, see ya". It doesn't mean your not a nice girl.

You described the woman most men are looking for. I said "men" not boys. Boys are looking for the skanky dressed slut. They don't have to look far. The woman you describe is a winner. The only thing I would change is don't wait by the phone, don't cry at night (be out dancing or something fun). Don't even look for the right man, just be who you are, enjoy what you do, and the right man will be there.

I read all the poem and thought you know that is soo me. I don't date. I am waiting on God. I have had my past exsperices that I wish never happened. I then read some of the answers/comments. I noticed 2 things. First, the females that acted like they didn't care, are most like the ones that are the opposite of the poem. Now, the man who said he was looking for a women like the poem, don't look just let God bring the one he wants you to marry to you. That may sound strange but it will happen I have seen it.

It's not that they finish last... they take care of their responsibilities first. Then when they are on top, no one really sees it because everyone else is already finished. The nice ones finish first in all reality. They experience life and that is a first finish.
