i mean most people who have a console gaming system have a gaming pc. in order to play alot of the new games on the pc you need to spend close to $400 to $600 anyway to upgrade your pc. this includes new hard drive, graphics card, sound card and processor. so really you are spending maybe a $100 or a little more on the PS3 and getting almost better quality than the pc. i mean thats my own view, i love playstation and i plan on saving the money to buy it.

don't get me wrong i do understand that it is expensive, but i mean c'mon it's worth every penny. it's going to be so much better that xbox 360.

What's the next step for DVD and movies? Blu-Ray advance sound and clear graphics never scratchable CDs (Yes blu-RAY don't GET SCRATCHED..) So you're Ps3 games will always work.

Besides the Blu-Ray Driver which is a Blu-Ray DVD player is $1,000. Ps3 has one built in.........so take off the $400, add a 20 gig hard drive and sweet games and still at $600...........wow that's a bargain.

Wi-Fi Connection (Online Play)- Should like about 6 years until the next gaming system come out so let's say you pay internet $20 a month. Times 12 X 6. That's another 1440

How do I know this? I work at BestBuy and we have to make room for the new equipment coming this fall......Mainly Ps3 and their games.......price tags ar $49-$59 plus tax...NOTHING MORE. I still remember when Nintendo 64 sold games for $40 even if the game has been out for 4 years.....Don't believe me..Donkey Kong 64 is still $40........LOL.. Sad isn't it.. I'm getting off topic SORRY.

In closing.......
The Ps3 is worth the cash..so stop complaining. All I have to pay is about 240 for the system and $150 for the games. I love the 40% employee discount and my gift cards........

All you guys saying Wii rocks Ps3 is to expensive are retards.. Stop being gay Fanboys and look at it on a fair gamer level.. The Ps3 has more power then the average Gamer PC. It has all the capabilitys of a computer. It can surf the web, video chat, instant messenger, listen to music, watch DVD's, awsome graphics, sound and processing, your disc dont get messed up, the games that are PS3 only rock... All this for $600. Thats a way good deal.. The Wii is no where near as powerfull, and may have a billion games but they all blow.. Only reason I would buy it is for Zelda.. Mario sucks and is overplayed. Metroid got old... And all the other games are stupid and are made for like 10 y/o's... All you gay Fanboys say "Its the best Next Gen counsel, its got a uber controller.." The tech in the Wii controller while never seen before in a Consule controller isnt technicly new, many arcade games and home entertainment games have used lower grade technologies similar.. So when all you gay Fanboys say Wii is the most advance next gen cause of its controller.. Your retarded, and need to look at game systems closer.. Its not just about cool design and controllers.. You gotta look inside at the specs and quality.. When Nintendo puts out a system to match the power of a Sony system or Microsoft, then Ill say its good.. Till then, nintendo is good but still aimed at younger gamers...
