My X got custody of my son in June, since then he hasn't let me see or speak to my son alone. The DA is prosecuting dad on 2 counts. His Mom treats him like a baby, he's 46! The trial is soon and suddenly I've got cops at my door, my foster parent caseworker got 2 calls from a woma saying things you wouldn't believe and a woman called a friend's employer claiming more outrageous stuff. I know it's her. All this within 1 week. The cops won't give up a name yet. She didn't leave 1 with her other pranks. What can I do? If I ask, they'll lie.

I lost custody of my TEENAGE son because dad's house is party central. I am a damn good mother! I do not need a lawyer, I wasn't accused of a crime. She just lied to the foster care case mgr. Also HE HAS kept me from my son. That's why he is being prosecuted on the 7th by the DA for "interfering in a parenting plan"
2-COUNTS. He & his mom PAID my son not to take my calls or visit on my weekends! READ the question before answering!

Some of the other answers you got suck! Must be a guy if he's blaming the Mom for all the crap the X's put you through. My advice is to do Nothing. She will slip up because it will drive her/them nuts that you aren't upset, angry, threatening, etc.
Give the bat enough rope & she'll hang herself. Good luck in court I hope he gets jail and a fine!
Then I'd go back to court & file for emergency custody. You do not need a lawyer, especially with him being charged with a crime. If the judge has any common sense he'll see who the REAL parent is.

If you haven't seen your son alone since then, then the calls to the foster caseworker should clearly have nothing to do with you.

You're right, there's no point in asking or accusing the X or his mom directly.

Instead, you could just remind the cops/caseworker that, as they've surely seen in many other bitter breakup situations, you feel they may be mounting an anonymous smear campaign against you. However, you're not worried about it since there's no evidence or reason for them to actually believe any of it (right?)

Meanwhile, just do everything you can to document that you haven't been able to see your child alone since he got custody... that whatever caused you to lose custody has been addressed... etc. Good luck!

no one can keep your from your kid without having full custody and or a court order. Go file for visitation on your kid. The other stuff will blow over get to the real issues the kid leave the bs alone. He can't tell you no if you get a judge to grant you visits. you said my foster parent caseworker "if you have other kids you had taken away" there is a reason and a legal right that he won't let you leave the house with the boy. I think your whole life sounds in dis order.

You can't really do anything. You can tell the police/caseworker what you think might be going on, so that if it keeps happening they will look into it and possibly contact her. I believe it's a crime to call false accusations about someone in - especially when it involves having the police or state agency.

You need to talk to your lawyer and let them know and maybe there is a way to trace the phone records back to your x's mother. If she is anything like mine then I know exactly what you are going through and yet I haven't even given birth yet. I wish you good luck.

Too much drama. There's a good reason why you lost custody of the child in the first place.
