When we traded away Bronson Arroyo, I knew the Red Sox had no intention of winning anything this year.

For crying out loud, every good pitcher is worth 10 times as much as any other player. I can't even remember who we got from the Reds, but I know Bronson is doing very well over there. And now we're out of pitchers...

Reminds me of the time we got rid of Roger Clemens. Maybe we hired the guy who started "New Coke".

Yup. There were done after the 5-game sweep by the Yankees.

You think that realization is now finally settling in with all the Red Sox fans?

The baseball season is not over yet and the Red Sox could come back and overtake the Yankees in the AL East.

They are officially done. Currently 8 1/2 games behind the Yankees. No Manny or Ortiz in the lineup. Lester hurting. Wakefield still on the shelf. Wells may be gone at any moment. The team is in total disarray.

Anything can happen but odds are that they're finished. They simply couldn't make it through the injuries. By the way ur probably going to have a dozen Yankee fans saying ridiculous stuff within the next day. Actually in the time I wrote this about five of them already have.

I think they might be, but I am a TRUE BOSTON RED SOX FAN.
If we don't make it this year, wait until next year. But I still don't and won't give up.

Absolutely.

The Yanks just carried out a 5 game sweep. I'd say their glory days are over. Back to the ol' curse.

Well maybe for this year. Let's hope David O is ok. I wish we still had him here in MN. The mgmt did a bad thing but the fans liked him.

The little pop-up timer went off about a week ago.

Hope they already have their golf clubs ready for October 2.
