being happy. You have to find what makes you happy in everything you do, everything you have, etc. If money makes you happy then go for it. If material items make you happy, then by all means. If sitting on you porch watching the sunset go down makes you happy then go ahead. Its finding what ultimatly makes you happy. Sometimes it takes a person a lifetime to find what makes them happy.

my definition is where one works hard and achieves success by means of a positive approach to their goals. this leads to obtaining all that one desired, but the dream can barely exist where there is too many people to all get there desires. I believe in sections of the American Dream. but it is just a dream and thus must be acted upon to become a sense of reality.

It means: starting out poor, working hard, saving, investing, and ending up having a good enjoyable life.
Don't act like Democrats and expect people to take care of you. You take care of yourself.
That IS the American Dream. Good Question!

yikes big question, well my dream is to own my own land, build a monolithic dome house, no government can take, grow my own food, live off my own energy source like wind or solar power and not some big power plant. having a dance studio built on the property to work on christian dance drama's and exercises. start my own business to help the poor and low income families with things they need. i also have a big craft making hobby business i have started that i would love to grow bigger. (I'm really serious about this i have list called...a if i won a millions that says all this too.

To be able to work and lead a life that you are satisfied with. To be generally happy and without having to worry if you are going to have enough money to put food on the table because you had to buy gas to get back and forth to work.
