I like girly girls.

I would have to say that could go both ways.I prefer a woman in between. If you're a girly-girl, than you might just be too high- maintanance or too caught up in how you look, to really get the respect you want from a guy. Tom-boys , on the other hand, tend to be more laid back and know they are hot, but dont spend all that extra time primping. But for now...lets just say that, in my case, guys would much rather prefer a tom-boy [as you say] or a cool down-to-earth girl in between.

My guy likes that I am a girly girl, but I think I am 80/20
I am ridiculously girly. I wore a scarf 4 different days this week. They were all differnt scarves. I have like 10 different pink shirts.
But I kick his A-$$ at scrabble, and I'm I biologist...so I think the 20% is pretty heavy.
In fact, I think I ahve to be pretty girly...If I'm not I run serious risk of, well you know... lab coat, frizzy bun... goggles... (shudder)

I think that it varies. Guys are no different then girls, really. Every guy wants something different - so girly girls appeal to some guys, and tom boyish girls appeal to others, and so on and so forth.

I think it varies but in my opinion: neither. I don't want a girl who can kick my *** and only likes sports (I'm not wild about sports anyway). But I don't want a dumb blonde whose favorite color is pink and can't stop thinking about barbies and disney princesses. A balance is the best: I'd say 75% girly, 25% tomboy.

Depends on what activity he has in mind. If he is going to a party, he will like a lady that can hold her own in such an environment, but if he is going fishing and stay all night then different kind of women is needed.

I personally like a feminine girl. Too often these days, girls want to exercise their equality that they end up behaving like guys, just to prove that they can make it.
A feminine girl, or girly girl as you call it, is getting harder to find nowadays.

Find a happy medium- a girl who likes to groom herself, but still is totally down to earth. Also, know what Chicken of the Sea really is.
