In my comm3 class, i am required to think up a problem I would have if I was employed as a computer programmer, and a few different solutions for that problem. Any suggestions for the problem and a few solutions for the problem?

Major problem: The changing needs of the users.

Solutions: Survey a large goup of users and make fore castes.

Flexible programming so u can make changes easily.

Consultation with users as u progress with programming.

Observe current trends.

If found this article about "Writer's Block" for Computer Programmers, basically giving some ideas when you are stuck trying to develop a solution (i.e. the Problem).

Some solutions, might including doing a flow chart to better understand the process needed. Another might be looking at what results are needed and then working backwards. Another would be colloborating with other programmers, either in person or maybe with a discussion group, for ideas. Similar to the last, maybe posting questions on an "experts" board. Finally, looking at publications or help sites for similar issues or solutions.

Those are just some and you may be able to come up with other possible solutions for "Programmer's Block".
