I want to plan a trip to the florida keys. Will ride my harley?

Three day trip ,one day to and from and one day at.
Secnic route with good stopping spots on the way. food and beverage for adults.

There is only one main highway down the keys. I rode my Harley and it was very fun. Not the best ride though it pretty much straight and flat the whole way. There are bars at every intersection and there is a lot of distance from say Miami to key West. The drive can take several hours. Depending on how many times you stop and how many drinks you have at each stop. Be careful though the cops will watch to see how long your bike is parked at a watering hole.

If you really want a ride try the Dragons Tail in North Carolina. If you do a search on it there are lots of web sites out there. It's one serious ride and not for riders that get scared. People die on this. I scraped my foot pegs many times.

You haven't said where you are riding from, At any rate once you have followed i-95 or the Florida turnpike to it's end there's really just one road that goeas all the way to Key West and that's U.S. 1. There's a LOT of good food on the way down. It's hard to go wrong as long as you go with fresh local seafood. There's a few nice restaurants on Islamorada. Go to Key West and go to all the bars on Duval Street. There's a yummy seafood restaurant there called Crabby Bill's. I reccomend Sloppy Joe's Bar for music and drinks. Have fun. The festival of the Sunset on Key West was better before they let the cruise ships dock there.

Hi,,, there is not but one hwy that goes there,,, it is all scenic and beautiful down there,,,, just keep up about the hurricanes that can come in,,,,,, the storms not the football team,,,,,,you dont want to be on a bike in rain hauling booty out of there,,,,,
