It's true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But there are some universal beauty traits...there's a science to all of this. Basically the most symmetrical people are the most beautiful. Symmetry in the face and in the body. A harmony has to be established for beauty to occur

It's not just a matter of opinion- that's a lazy belief that has occurred through taking the logic of philosophy too seriously at the expense of common sense and the experience of life.
Nor is it just a matter of the physical appearance of someone's face/body either.

Some of the most beautiful people are those with no regrets/ nothing to hide (or innocence) as they can look you in the eye with complete confidence. If this is partnered with physical beauty, it is magical. If they are highly gifted/intelligent too it is an unbeatable package.

Well yes they are. Some people are simply more aesthetically pleasing to the eye and that's all there is to it. What makes them more lovely to look at is complicated as it seems to be conditioned by the society we live in. I have a friend who is slightly overweight, very pale and with a very big nose. She lived for a while in an Asian country and made quite a hit. People were always telling her how beautiful she was. 'How fat you are' they would say. 'What lovely white skin you have' or 'Your nose is so big and beautiful'. After living there for a year she had so much confidence that she looked quite beautiful to the rest of us too.

There are many other kinds of beauty of course, so it probably all balances out in the end.

To every one of us, some people ARE more beautiful than others. But who is the more beautiful one changes as soon as the person you are looking out from changes. So, in other words, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

According to people who study this type of thing, the more symmetrical both sides of your face are, the more beautiful people perceive you to be, in the article it proved the point by example of celebrity faces, however we all have a different idea of beauty.

I think it's up to the person themselves, some say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I myself say every one is beautiful in there own way, it doesn't have to be in looks, or body shape, or even the colour of their skin. We all have beauty in some shape or form, whether its inside or out.

matter of opinion. like anything else, not everyone will agree. you may think someone is beautiful and your friend might think they're not. or someone may be good looking but you may not be attracted to them.
