In my experience, the most healthy and effective (and easy to maintain/afford) diet is the South Beach diet. You can research it at www.southbeachdiet.com
During the first two weeks you can loose 8-10 pounds.
Following Phase 1 for two weeks kick-starts your weight loss. You'll eat normal-size portions of lean meat, fish, eggs, reduced-fat cheese, nonfat yogurt, nuts, and plenty of vegetables. Snacks and desserts are part of the plan, as well.
Next, you'll move on to Phase 2, where you'll learn to reintroduce the right carbs, such as whole grains and most fruits. Some indulgences are allowed. You should continue to lose weight on Phase 2 until you reach your goal.
Once you've reached your goal weight, you'll move to Phase 3 (the maintenance phase), where you'll continue to make good eating choices. The plan will feel less like a diet and more like a lifestyle.
I personally lost 7 pounds my first week, and 3 more the next- it is easy to continue because you can indulge in some normal things you usually eat as long as you keep it in moderation.
Good Luck!

Exercise and eat smart. Get a gym membership and a workout buddy and make it a routine. Eat healthy. Be willing to try new foods like eggplant and asparagus. You'd be surprised by what you can do to make them taste good. Use spaghetti squash instead of regular pasta. Drink water and try protien shakes. It will take a little time, but if you are patient and keep it up, you will see results within a month. You should be physical everyday, but you don't have to work out everyday.

Burn off more calories than you take in each day. -
A combination of a sensible healthy balanced diet and plenty of regular exercise.
It wont make you lose weight overnight but it will do so over time.
Also weigh yourself at the same time each day - ideally before breakfast and after nature has called 1st thing in the morning

Check out this book called "The Abs Diet". It was a hit everywhere, and people who followed it have remarked that they are amazed how they can lose weight without even feeling like they're on a diet.

The best way is by running and eating well. Not starving to death. There are many ways to lose weight but if you lose weight to fast you'll probably get stretch marks. So just try not to lose weight so fast. Ask you Doctor to see how much weight you can lose weekly in order to not get to many stretch marks.

yeah. Go on a crash diet.
Where have you been recently? It's like common knowledge that what you need to do is eat a lot of stuff like chocolate and soda and sit on your *** all day or just don't eat anything at all.
