Um... he doesn't have the power to do that. Check out the 22nd amendment

The 22nd Amendment
Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

Section. 2. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress.

Ratification was completed on February 27, 1951.

Yeah, okay!
People said the same crap about Clinton, "He's gonna use Y2K to pronounce Martial Law, AHHH" But, OF COURSE, He didn't! and neither will Bush. As a matter of fact, I can't recall the last time that ANY president declared Martial Law and stayed in office past their allotted time! Keep thinking up your little "what ifs" I'm sure you are bound to come across one that will happen!

I believe Bush could do that by declaring Marshall Law, which is an act of emergency. Some think that scenario is not completely out of the question.

It`s against the Constitution. If he would go against it, he would fall to the lowest level of many international leaders (dictators, tyrants..) who sick with power resort to corrupt procedures. If we fight and criticize them, we cannot allow anybody in this country to act like that. The USA is the land of democracy.

I would declare him the anti christ. And sit back cause the ride is gonna be whack!!!

Not too far away w/ marshall law. We have laws to set in place for every human being to be put into "work camps" where all the roads are disignated for military use and no one is free in place in the USA.
Basically making America Nazi germany. Its in the FEMA laws.

But unfortunately, we have no laws or rules to how to reinstate our democracy after the threat causing marshall law is over??

kinda odd wouldn't you say??

A lot of world leaders have done just that and gotten away with it for sure but George has milked this country for just about all it is worth and then some. He will leave it in a lot more debt than he found it for sure.

A coup in the US? Even super conservative republicans who eat GWB excrement wouldn't stand for that. He'd have to kill every member of the senate and the house to do that.

You are naive. He can only be president for a maximum of two terms, that's all he gets.
