I suspect that a few of my friends had in the past spread gossip around about me. The gossip about me is all true embarressing stuff. They're the type of people who gossip at a party about you before you arrive at the party. They'll deny it and dismiss your accusations as ungrounded.

public humiliation and gossip is not what real friends do for each other. they are not friends at all......

Since it is the past, why bother or react upon them. If you really find them not trustworthy to be acceptable as friends, then don't join them. Try not to take gossip so seriously. Though it is sometime damaging, but why bother what others have to say. Ignore and your life will be more peaceful. You won't be able to change the situation of people gossipping in front or at the back of you, so why bother.

Well if you trusted them with the information you should be alittle mad but seeing it was awhile ago then you should just let it slide. If they do it again well they don't sound like a very good friends

if u know for a fact it was them never tell secrets to them again.if u suspect it was them.ditto

ask them straight out. if they say they did. don't get mad. say that that really hurt you and you trusted them fully. then walk away. then you can become anger just don't do it in front of them
