The answer is too long here. But there are websites that you can search under ( tennis clay court construction ). Being in southern California, you will have a hard time finding real clay as it is not made here anymore. The kiln process is toxic and against the state's air pollution laws. Most of the 'clay' courts are a combination of crushed aggregate, and very dusty. You need to have at least 120 feet length wise and 60 feet for width. I am also investigating building a court. Good luck with yours.
