I know religion & Politics should not Mix - but we know it does .... In America, I am under the illusion ( yeh! I know am going to get stick here ) that the Republican Party is mainly Protestant, Baptist and the Democrats are mostly all Catholics.. Am I correct ? and the Jews have their own guy . Joe somebody or other ,.. Is this correct ? Let me know ..

Not sure about the mix, but from here (UK) it does seem as though the US government's strings are pulled by right-wing christian interests, and some of their views seem quite extreme (or perhaps I mean old-fashioned)

look, how did you decide which church to go to? did you have faith that drew you to one?

there is something inside you that tells you what right and wrong is. listen to that, then you can figure out which guy in which building is worth listening to. why should it matter who's side anyone is on when we are free to make our own party?

no I don't see it that way based on religious affiliation...Kerry was RC divorced and pro abortion....there were christian senators who voted for funding stem cell research .........if there is anything dividing the sides ..it is more the religion of conservatism vs liberalism....
