Has any mechanic had problems with tapping into new ford trucks with their diagnostic scanners?

I HAVE HAD TWO DIFFERENT FORD TRUCKS THAT WERE 2003-05 AND COULD NOT GET ANY COMMUNICATION WITH A SNAP-ON SOLUS, AND A HAND-HELD GLOBAL. WHAT CAN I DO TO READ THESE ECM'S?

IF you are trying to communicate with a vehicle that has CAN (Controller Area Network) protocol, even with the Snap-On you will need the CAN adapter and the CAN enabled software in the scanner.

hi i'm at present fixing up our 2.3 ford galaxy ,and the shocks were replaced the strut correct mountings ,new brake discs and brake pads ,the hubs were checked the ball joints were checked ,and the force shafts were inspected ,we've run the motorized vehicle in force equipment in ordinary words gently ,and the handbrake on ,the engine lifts up and back ,and that i opposite equipment it dips down not ordinary ,i am going to get the full engine mount set in ,with slightly of success 2d hand if not new ,this i trust will end the shake or wobble contained in the motorized vehicle for you ,i'm particular of it ,if u have a guide gearbox to do this try ,purely prepare the handbrake in a danger-free position obviously not on a hill or everywhere risky round human beings ,then placed the motorized vehicle into first equipment ,and carry your foot 1/2 way till you sense the chew of the seize ,then have someone both watch the way the engine strikes up and back ,or perhaps get them to operate the motorized vehicle and also you watch to ee if the engine lifts up not ordinary ,even as searching the chew on the seize with the handbrake totally on obviously for safe practices ,we do not desire every person run over .....Then do a similar in opposite equipment ,with handbrake totally on ,and if engine dips down not ordinary ,i trust that the engine mounts are shot ,replace and get rid of situation... The engine will flow really up and down usually ,yet i trust when you're seeing what i'm seeing you'll understand that the mountings are gone .... once you've already cured the region please enable me understand what you probably did???

No problems so far. I hook it up, turn the key on, power up the unit and it words.
