Tan skin actually looks great with the gothic fashion.

But if you do want to give yourself a more ligth complexity, you WILL have to use a few make-up products [Or shy away from all ligth almost for a year]

Try using Morbid's Gothic LIGHT [Not white] foundation and seal it off with Olay's transparent shine ender powder. Morbid brand is sold at Hot Topic, Spencer's and other stores of the sort... You can get the Olay transparent powder at any pharmacy.

well, clay masks leave he skin weirdly lighter, but more like a pasty look.... When I use it to reduce the oiliness of my face my friends think that I am a vampire.
You buy this clay on naturist stores I think, as a powder, and then you just make mud with it, apply it on your face and take it off when it's dry.

And of course wear sleeves, use black weird umbrellas under the sun and dark glasses when they are not really needed, cause you're a goth and you can do wathever you want.

Confine yourself to darkness .. like think vampire. The goths will think you're cool.

But seriously tho I have no clue why you'd want to do that [tan skin makes you look thinner & prettier] you could try applying a very light powder [its not heavy & you won't even feel like you're wearing make-up] & put on like SPF 45 - 60 when you do stuff outside so you won't get any tanner.

Good luck.. tho my advice is to stay tanner..

Firstly: goths come in all colors, shapes and sizes. Secondly: the best way is to find out what works best on your skin and stay out of the sun. Really.

Why would you want to assign yourself to a stereotype?
If the "gothic" people think you're too tan, then maybe you should go to a different group. Who would want to be friends with someone who won't like you unless you change something about yourself?

unless you were the wrong color of powder that's a shade lighter, or you only use foundation, i think that's the only way. unless you stay out of the sun for about 3 months.

seriously, I'm not to sure what you are wanting.
I have seriously pale skin and I love it, I don't go out in the sun.
There are skin bleaches available but I've never used them.
