Why is it accepted and expected for young blacks to do negative things but frowned out and shut down to do positive things?

That is, indeed, a puzzle. I live near Memphis, and at my office, we are about 50/50 white/black. They see it differently. Their kids aren't glorifying "thug life", etc. Their kids go to church and worship with them. I just don't know. I guess that's not really an answer, is it?

It's not accepted for young blacks to do negative things actually people are always criticizing this new violent and drug-oriented youth; however, with such high numbers, it has become expected and it's very sad because the ones that manage to live a good and noble life always have to fight that image.
When they do positive things, either they're said to be "acting white" or even sellouts....Which is dumbfouding to me really!
Who wishes to stay in the ghetto and not wanting a better life?
Do your thing kid and don't let negative energy put you down....from either sides.

well its not a racest thing yes white people get introuble to but blacks make a name on them selves. like thiers this town its filled with blacks thiers more crime thier then anywhere. its not just blacks its portoricans. whites too allso lots of blacks have attitudes. and they can be racest against whites how i know that is at night i was riding a bus home thier was no where to site thier was a bunch of blacks and they told me to go in the front where i belong and i refused and they pulled a knife to my throat. thier whole family laughed thats how blacks get thier name by thier actions allways think they should get treated better then everyone.because of something stuppid that was done with in the 60's. black people back then would be ashamed of black people now they worked and fought hard even died burned treated bad called names. for what you to use it against people so if you do something wrong you say oh its becaUSE im black. people back then would love to have your rights and blacks are only doing the same that was done to them that they fought for. im not racist i have blacks that r friends they say the same thing. thiers blacks in my school that ask for things from other class mates like if ya dont give them candy or dont give money they say its cause im balck. then they kick the **** out of this girl cause she couldnt hand them money. yes thier are lots of whites that are mean and say things thats racist. its sad but no ones perfect truth is thiers no perfect race. everyone is the same. white people would do the same if we were in thier shoes

Becuase they are programmed to bthink this way by the Liberal media. The United States is the best country to be black in the world.

it might have to do with how racist some people are towards blacks, it also might be that because of those racisit people that the black community feels that all whites are like that and that they never will be accepted, i have no way of knowing for sure but...
