I watch the CBS evening news and am already planning on watching NBC once she gets on air.
It has to be one of the dumber decisions ever made by CBS.
Russ Mitchell is by far one of the very best at CBS. We loved him when he was on the local St. Louis news and still get a kick out of seeing him on CBS. He is professional, articulate, intelligent and has excellent presence. He is exactly the kind of person I want telling me the events that impact my family's life.
I don't care to hear anything from Katie Couric.

Well quite a number of people are already sayin that Kaite Couric won't do a good job at CBC evening news. Hoever i think that she shoudl be given a fair chance, it's only when we see what she is capable of or incapable of doing that an opinion should be voiced.

I think they've BOTH got each other in a death grip, and we're all just watching to see which will flatline first.

I really hope she helps. I think it is great that she is going to be there in the evenings and on 60 Minutes.
She is a great interviewer so I think she will do fine.

I think she will do just fine, she has proven herself as a reputable reporter. I think many people are just used to men being popular on the major newscasts.

That remains to be seen. I think it is a good idea to have a woman anchor for a change. Let's hope that it will be just fine.
