Exactly how bad tasting is it? Friend said I should try to drink it all at once.

You need to finish it within 5 minutes and take the test exactly 1 hr later. The doctor should give you a choice of what flavors you want: orange or lime. They do recommend that you drink it cold because it takes better. I drank the orange flavored one and it's not that bad. It was quite refreshing because I drank it on a hot day. Just think of it as orange soda or lime soda. The bottle is not that big and you're finishing it in 5 minutes.

if you wanna know exactly how it tastes. just get a can of orange soda and put 1/4 cup of sugar into it in a tall glass. put it in the fridge and let it sit for 2 days or until totally flat. then stir it real good and drink it. since taste is different for eveyone. whatever you get from this mixture it's what it will taste like!
make sure when you go to get this test you don't eat for an hour b4 the test and an after after you drink this funky liquid. Also try drinking it as fast as possible. forget that it's too sweet and just chug, you'll be less likely to get sick.

When I had my glucose test, it was orange flavored. Its like drinking a warm flat syrup. Initially, not bad; However, you don't want to take your time with it! Be sure to have some tums or doctor recommended upset stomach relief with you. After a while you will most likely have a queezy tummy. Don't worry, it's normal. Just don't let the stories discourage you from taking this very important test!

It's like syrup from the soda machine when the carbonation has gone empty. It is not very pleasant and will make you want to drink gallons of water, but it is not horrible either. Drinking it all at once is probably a good suggestion so you don't overdose your sweet taste buds.

It tastes like a too sweet coke. Try to get it all down but don't try to drink it all at once. Drink as much as you can on the first go,, wait a little bit and do it again. It's just too sweet, nothing nasty other than that.

It's very sweet. When I was pregnant and had to take the test it was cold so I didn't think it tasted that bad.

I had one a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't that bad (not great either) but you have to drink it within 5 minutes anyway and it's best when cold. And you might feel a little faint afterwards too

There are differnt flavors. I had the orange kind. It taste just like sunkist. It wasn't bad. I heard that the cola and lime were nasty

It wasn't that bad.. The orange tastes like a sugary orange crush soda and the lime was like a sugary sprite..... Not too bad....
