I don't know ... I'd guess music sung (or performed) from the heart. Very expressive and passionate.

I never heard of emotive but i know that "emo" music is an alternative music that is not crazy like most alternantive music it is more emotional. Most of the time it is depressing but there are some good emo sogs out there. Someone whom is "Emo" looks sad and depressed but doesnt always mean they are.
