Depends, Nintendo has always had good systems with few bugs. The GameCube was the only 2000 generation console that didn't need to be re-released. That says what when Nintendo launches a console, they drop the TOP quality stuff they can find. Nowadays, Nintendo don't have many game contracts with other games. People went to the Ps3 ( Family and Fun Games ) and to the Xbox ( Hardcore, In your face ) games. Nintendo Wii, I think is for 10 year olds, who wants to play games, but why spend $600 for the Ps3 when you can get the Wii for $250....
And the display, yuck, dark grey color it looks like the Playstation..Xbox 360 and Ps3 are all silver and shiny and Wii is a dark grey color...
Also, the company Wii signed itself with. Xbox got HDTV, Sony has Blu-ray, and Nintendo has Bluetooh?..............Wow, what a letdown.
Based on Nintendo pass failures...........I'd give it a 5.0 just to be nice.
P.S. - to the guy above me......Nintendo Wii is only backward compatable with the GameCube, so it cannot play Sega Genesis or even N64 games...So uhh, what are you talking about.

well wii is the best console because u can play all your old gamcube nintendo 64 sega geneses games so its affordable i say 9.5 outve 10 u can also buy the same ps3 with better graphics for 300 so why by it its not even affordable like nintendo wii wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you can play older games on it. They are planning, and its been confirmed that you can download and play selected games from other systems. N64, SNES, Original NES, and even some Sega genesis games will be playable.
Read game informer, its the most informative gaming magazine in my opinion.
