It is this boy at my highschool that I been trying to find out if he was gay or just really friendly. He always seems to be hitting on me. I'm a guy and I'm scared to ask him face to face if he is gay or not. So instead I started beating around the bush today by writting a letter saying "there is someone in your 2 period class that wants to hook up with you". I'm in his second period class, but I just want for him to find out that I'm its me liking him but ashamed to come out to say it to and find out if he is gay or not. How would he respond when he read the letter. I gave him the letter today and I will know what he says tommorrow during 2 period class. I really thinks he likes me because he always making sexual commits to me. He also ask me if I could go out with him, but I thought he was playing, but I dont think he was playing when he said that because he always seems to be hitting on me everytime he see me or talking to me.

That's a tough one. Those "I'll pass him a note" things always seem to backfire... it always did for me in high school. I would just try to become friends with him outside of school... see if he wants to hang out, etc. Then talk about girlfriends, etc, and see how he reacts. You should just try to find out over time, rather than rushing into finding out right away.
And if you do find out he's gay, don't rush into anything, if you get my drift! Be careful!!!

Well if you don't ask you'll never know for sure. If he is gay he'll tell you if he isn't trust me you'll also know that in the end. It is hard to go to school these days and sometimes when you are not like your classmates you get picked on allot but in the end school is for learning and I hope you finish because it is a process you have to go through and it isn't always allot of fun still it only last for what 12 years or so. Good Luck don't be ashamed of who and what you are be proud and stand up tall. It is what makes you who and what you are.

This is a tough one. Deffinately be careful on this one.. Guys do things like that as a joke thinking your joking with them but first i would ask him if he had a girlfriend or something. If he responds saying no then tell him you two should chill but dont suggest it as a date make it sound like nothing big i hope everything turns out ok and tell me how everything turns out!

Folks can be cruel so don't go raising your hopes of a boyfriend - just because he asked you out loud to go out with him. He might've been joking.
Even if he is happy to get your note, take things very slowly. You'll both appreciate any time you spend together more, if you don't rush things.

Just a suggestion; Go out with him, you don't have to specify if it's a date or just an outing. Just ask him if he wants to tag along to a movie or something. It's a good start

Be careful...
I have heard of cases where people have "hit on" people they suspected as being gay and set them up to be bashed elsewhere.
