I know I'm not pregnant b/c I'm still a virgin...what's going on?

Sometimes periods are irregular for several reasons.

If a person gets too much exercise, it can halt periods altogether.
If a person uses birth control pills, that too can make periods irregular.
Emotional stress can make periods irregular.

If this condition continues, see a gynocologist for a check up.
Good luck to you.

DEPRESSION! That's the problem. Your mental status can affect the body in more ways than one... I'm sure that you do know, that if there is a untability in the mind the body will follow... Find some peace, relax, or discuss your issues. If you truly are a virgin (congradulations, that's rare) then there IS no other explination.. you need to ask questions about your depression other than your late period....

This is probably a normal thing....
I have a lot of problems with my periods. Like one time I went a whole month with out stopping.
Maybe you should go to the doctor, they will most likely put you on birthcontrol pills, it helps make ur periods regualr.
Don't be afraid to tell your mom about it. Or whoever you live with, because if you don't yourr problem might get worse.

Depression can change your hormones and delay or stop your periods. Talk to your doctor, he should be able to help get you back on track.

If you are still a teen then it's totally normal and nothing to worry about. If you are an adult then it could be stress.

it could be late BECAUSE you are depressed or stressed...lots of stuff affect your period. try to relax...or ask your mother if her periods are regular...it could just be genetic
