Viagra works well.

Over the counter you could try large doses of L-Arginine, the amino acid. It works on a similar principle as Viagra---produce nitric oxide along the blood vessel walls and in turn causing the vessel walls to dilate. Dilation causes pooling of blood which increases your chance for wood. Understand, though, that Viagra is about 50 times more effective at getting the nitric oxide process going than 400 mg of L-Arginine, so you'll either have to dose up on the L-Arginine (1500mg maybe=stomach ache possibly and not recommended if you have herpes-lips or genitals), or go get the little blue pill.

It does work. No there is not an over the counter medication that works. There are dietary supplements but these are not recognized as safe and effective by the fda. There is fake Viagra available on the net. It is not safe and it is not real. It will not work. Only get Viagra with a prescription from a medical doctor in person. There are reasons not to use it. Do not take another persons prescription. Make sure to obtain it from a licensed pharmacy.

When Viagra works, it works well, for up to 4 hours. But a caution: it does not work for everyone. And you do need some foreplay to produce arousal.
