We use foam craft sheets a lot with our 3 & 4 year olds. They make good picture frames, magnets, etc. Be sure to use foam glue as craft glue takes a LONG time to dry. Also we used paper plates to make Daniel & the lions den lion masks (yarn, paper plates with holes punched, elastic bands to hold on head), paper plate mail holders (cut 1 plate in half and attach at bottom of plate 1 with glue, punch holes through both plates and 'sew' together with yarn, attach a hanger & decorate).
