I pay my sitter only 5 dollars an hour, but my 10 y/o son is very easy to watch, and when I tried to pay her more she said no, he is fun to be with. I am not sure why a 12 y/o would need a sitter? But between 5-7 for somebody his age. Ask what other duties you would have? What can he eat/ not eat. What tv can he watch/not watch. House rules? Phone rules? computer rules..etc.

Teen age baby sitters get paid nothing to 50 bucks a day.
If she is only sitting for the night 4 hrs or less it's usually about 20 dollars.l do not see why teenage baby sitter should not get minim wages. They deserve it.
