My husband is 75, has had circulation problems for years. I noticed a blood spot in his eye after sex, like maybe a burst blood vessel. Should we discontinue sex until he sees a dr? He probably won't want to. He'll just ignore it. Should I call his dr? I hate to cause a scene or embarrass him. Is this a serious health problem? I've seen it happen more than once.

His eye cleared up within a day. He has improved his health greatly since we got married 12 years ago. He eventually gave up excess alcohol & smoking.l He shouldn't have to give up sex!

I'm afraid that if the dr. tells him he has to quit having sex, it will depress him terribly.

First of all, it's "sense".

Secondly, does your husband have a history of high blood pressure? If so, then this might - emphasis on the might - be an indicator of elevated blood pressure during intercourse (which wouldn't be that surprising). Depending on his health, it may or may not be serious. I would consult your physician for a more professional and thorough answer.

If he has a blood spot in his eye he should see an eye Dr. Does it ever go away after sex. First of all I am pround that y'all can have sex at 75; that gives me hope. Lol. It could be from high blood pressure also. At seventy-five my eye would more than likely "pop" out. Just kidding. I hope I am kidding. You may try some eye drops to clear it up. A blood spot depending on the size could be a mild stroke, but I would doubt that.

What I am trying to say is "Take your husband to a Dr." Period.

It's possible that he may have a heart attack if you continue to have intercourse... It's best that if he doesn't want to go to a doctor, simply call one on his behalf... I've never heard of such... but YOU NEED TO GO TO THE DOC, POPS!
