Claire's sell great stuff. I too get allergic reaction to the cheap stuff but I have never had a prob with any of the earrings I've bought. If you are really concerned, go for silver. It's not much more and you won't have to worry about your ears messing up. :)

You'll have to wait a little to see if they start to itch. Personally, the supposedly nickel-free earrings from Claire's still bother my ears, so I get all my jewelry from a catalogue call Simply Whispers. They also have a website, but it's not very user-friendly. Good luck!

Wear your earrings for a few days. If your ears get red, or feel red, or feel different than usual then it means the earrings irritated your ears.

It sounds like it must be one among 2 issues. you're the two allergic to those metals while it is composed of your ears, or they pierced them incorrect. That befell to my daughter. My mom and that i had her ears pierced on the age of two months. If she would not have jewelry in for a pair of month, they initiate remaining up. She is 3 now, and that i even tried having her positioned in this one pair for a twelve months. It did no longer count. once I took them out, they nevertheless closed up. I then positioned jewelry back in and that they grew to grow to be contaminated. curiously they healed, because of the fact my mom positioned jewelry on her and not something befell. you ought to attempt rubbing alcohol, or you ought to easily take a small ruin from jewelry for a week. That looks to have worked for my daughter. She's 3 now, btw. I additionally had a chum who grow to be allergic to jewelry in in simple terms her ears. although grow to be in them, it did no longer count if it grow to be diamonds, gold, although. She grow to be allergic and wasn't able to positioned on them.

If they're nickel free you should be ok, but if not you'll start to itch and turn red.
