Is israel a true democracy?

What are the basic principles of democracy? Is Israel a true democracy? How is life different in Israel for Jews and non jews? What truth is there behind the suppoused color coded licences, licence plates, etc that ever resident of the state has to have defining his or her religion and race? How do these things affect residents' daily lives? Please provide as much detail as possible and please cite your sources thank you!

Israel is a theocratic democracy at best, but turning more and more to a theocracy. But America technically isn't a democracy either; we are a Constitutional Republic, moving toward (judging by current trends) either a theocracy (should the religious reich extend its hold more) or a fascist state (should Bush & Co.'s policies of indefinate arrests, random wire taps, constant surveilance, and terror mongering continue).

Why don't you be straight forward and ask about those license plates directly? Your original question is much removed from what you are really asking.

Actually I find the concept of different color license plates for different kinds of people very interesting. I guess the answer to that is so that Israel can be more precise when firing off missiles at vehicles supposedly filled with terrorists. At least they will stand a better chance of not actually hitting European Jews if they can discern the plate color before hitting the button.

certain a non Jew can develop into best Minister or the President of Israel. There are Arabs in place of work elected from districts usually Arab in Israel, and absolutely everyone can run for any place of work, with the in simple terms exception of a few not being a religious chief. yet the percentages of it taking position is a million in a 1000's of thousands, because each and each of the human beings opt for them, with an infinite majority Jewish.
